Celebrate independence

The Sierra Oro Farm Trail is celebrating America’s independence on Sunday, July 7.

The organization is offering chartered van tours on the first Sundays for guests who are interested in reserving transportation for large groups or who would simply like to enjoy their tour with a driver.

Stops include: Calolea Olive Oil, Hickman Family Vineyards, Grey Fox (lunch served) and Quilici Vineyards and Long Creek Winery.

Vans will pick up riders from the following locations, please specify the preferred pick up location when ordering tickets: Raley’s on Notre Dame parking lot in Chico, Raley’s on Oro Dam parking lot in Oroville and Safeway on Clark Road in Paradise.

Pricing includes tastings at all stops, lunch, driver and farm trail tour guide.

For self-guided tours these participating farms on the Sierra Oro Farm Trail will be open on the first Sunday of every month: Bertagna Son Kissed Vineyards, Calolea Olive Oil, Chaffin Orchards, Dog Creek Cellars, Gale Vineyards, Grey Fox Winery, Hickman Family Vineyards, La Rocca Winery and Tasting Room, Lodestar Farms, Long Creek Winery, Maisie Jane’s California Sunshine Products, Morse Farms, New Clarvaux Vineyards, Quilici Vineyards and Winery, Wagon Wheel Market.
