"MOONLIT BIRDS" BY Dona Love
Third Saturday Art Walk at Iron Willow Gallery will feature two local artists, Mary Walden and Dona Love.
Both Love and Walden have been interested in art since they were very young.
They each approach painting with a different style.
Love paints in both an impressionistic style as well as in abstract form where she enjoys using color to project feeling and emotion.
For Walden her painting is a spiritual experience, expressing the journey of life. She is also beginning to create humorous art, recognizing the need for laughter in our lives.
Both artists have a wide range of paintings on display with something for most everyone’s taste.
Drop by the gallery at 440 Main St. in Placerville between 6 and 9 p.m. to meet the ladies and to view the wonderful works by all 28 artists represented in the gallery.
