The patriotic red, white and blue display of comfort for wounded and disable veterans is beautiful. Come to the lunch at Cold Springs Country Club, 6500 Clubhouse Drive in Placerville to see and hear how local guilds are making a difference in the lives of those who have served and the children in need of a loving gift they can call their own.
The speaker is Helen Pachaud, a reluctant off road motorcycle enthusiast telling how to ride out the tough times.
The lunch is at noon and is $16.
Reservations are essential and must be made by Thursday, Oct. 10.
Call Ann at 530-677-9422 to attend.
