Comedy show keeps it fresh

SACRAMENTO — On Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, Capital Stage, 2215 J St. in Sacramento, will feature a comedy event headlined by popular actress/comedienne Katie Rubin performing new material from her one-woman comedy show “Everything! All at Once!”

Rubin  of “The North Plan,” “In the Next Room” or “The Vibrator Play,” will return to Capital Stage with her signature solo comedy performances. In the tradition of her past hit solo shows, “My Spiritual Death” and “Insides Out!” Rubin will present an evening of some of her favorite material along with excerpts from her brand new show, “Everything! All At Once!” This performance is recommended for adult audiences.

Rubin is a stage and screen actress, writer and director who is a regular performer with Capital Stage,  including “Amazing and Sage,” her one-woman show produced in October 2011.

She has performed with Sacramento Theatre Company, B Street Theatre, Foothill Theater, and on stages in New York, Massachusetts and Florida.

She resides in Los Angeles where she recently co-produced a film starring Harry Hamlin, became a company member at Rogue Machine theater, and has been touring with her third solo show, “My Spiritual Death, a Comedy Show.”
