Comic Dennis Gaxiola visits Sequoia

Enjoy dinner and comedian Dennis Gaxiola’s first appearance on the Sequoia Comedy Showcase stage on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion, 643 Bee St. in Placerville.

U.S. Air Force sergeant Dennis Gaxiola is one of America’s funniest clean comedians. The preacher’s son gained notoriety from his appearances with Jamie Foxx on “Comedy Central,” The Latino Kings of Comedy Tour with Paul Rodriguez, BET’s “Comic View,” Que Locos and the 2010 season of Martin Lawrence’s “First Amendment Stand Up.”

Tickets are available for the show or for dinner and the show. Dinner and show tickets are $40 and include a chef’s choice four course dinner, tax and tip and the show. Reservations are required by calling 530-622-5222.

Show-only tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., there is music by Tamra Godey and Friends at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.
