Gold Country Retirement Community will present an outdoor summer concert featuring Black Tuesday Jazz Band on Friday, Sept. 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Black Tuesday Jazz Band has entertained audiences throughout California and Nevada since the early 1990s. They have participated in the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee since 1997. This talented group of eight musicians has worked on improving their unique style and sound by varying the instrumental mix.

“Trad to swing, fun music is our thing,” said Hal Needham, the band’s leader.

The public is welcome to attend this fun and free event.

Bring a blanket or camp chair and a picnic dinner. Popcorn and lemonade will be provided.

Parking is available in any of the uncovered spaces around 6021, 6041, 6061 and 6081 Golden Center Court in front of 4301 Golden Center Drive or on the street around Gold Country Retirement Community.

Gold Country Retirement Community is located off Missouri Flat Road behind McDonald’s Restaurant in Placerville.
