The El Dorado Women’s Connection Luncheon is Cooking Summer Fun on Monday, June 9 at Cold Springs Country Club, 6500 Clubhouse Drive in Placerville. Seating is at 11:30 a.m. and Cold Springs serves lunch at noon. Cost is $16.

The featured speaker is John Sanders, celebrity chef and owner of Old Town Grill on Main Street in Placerville. He will demonstrate a delicious recipe or two and luncheon guests will get to sample one of his great appetizers. Come see a true grill-master in action.
The speaker is Danita Schwemer of Cameron Park. She will tell how “A successful Half Dome climber realizes the truth found on the uphills and downhills of life.”
