The public is invited to attend the Shingle Springs Christian Women’s Connection monthly luncheon meeting on Monday, Aug. 12 at Cold Springs Country Club, 6500 Clubhouse Drive in Placerville.
Betty Ann Beauchamp will share her extensive 30 years knowledge about a unique alternative cooking technique — solar. She will cover how to stay cool this summer with made-at-home solar cooking making for a great alternative to hot and smokey barbecues.
Music will be by Joyce Hogan.
The speaker Betty Childs will tell how she overcame her lack of self esteem and drive to be perfect.
Cost is $16. Searing is at 11:30 and lunch is at noon.
Reservations are required and must be confirmed by Thursday, Aug. 8.
Call Barbara at 916-806-8057 or Madeline 530-676-4258 to attend.
The program and luncheon are sponsored by Shingle Springs Christian Women’s Connection and Stonecroft Ministeries.
