Glenn County has won Best of Show for its county exhibit. The Salvagno family celebrated its 11th anniversary of building Glenn County’s exhibit at the California State Fair. The family has won silver and gold awards in the past and Glenn County has won the Best of Show Award for the second consecutive year. Member of the Salvagno family and designer of the exhibit, Terrie Barr, was near tears as she accepted the Golden Bear trophy on behalf of the county.

Awards were presented to 27 California Counties exhibiting in the California State Fair this year. The counties exhibit has been a longstanding fan favorite and continues to draw crowds of fairgoers every year who support their county.
The exhibit is in the California Building A at Cal Expo, 1600 Exposition Blvd. in Sacramento.
