Since its founding in 1983, Dallas Brass has become one of America’s foremost musical ensembles. The group has established a unique blend of traditional brass instruments, including two trumpets, trombone, tuba and French horn with a full complement of drums and percussion, creating a performing entity of extraordinary range.
The Dallas Brass’ extensive repertoire ranges from classical to Dixieland, big band to Broadway and Hollywood to patriotic. The highlight of a Dallas program is a master workshop with local high school bands culminating in the band’s appearance in the concert.
The Folsom Lake Community Concert Association has been presenting internationally acclaimed artists to the community since 1994. The organization grew from a commitment to serve the community and enrich the cultural life of Folsom.
