Museums offer art related gifts for the holidays

SAN FRANCISCO — The de Young and Legion of Honor museum stores offer a wide variety of unique art-inspired gifts including books, jewelry, apparel, accessories, crafts, home décor, stationery and children’s toys.

This year, the stores feature French-themed merchandise that complements the special exhibitions “Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne and Beyond: Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay” and “Japanesque: The Japanese Print in the Era of Impressionism.”

Colorful textiles inspired by “To Dye For: A World Saturated in Color” can be purchased on the second floor of the de Young Museum at the Special Exhibition Store.
