The Diamond Springs Art Association Fall Art Show and Sale closes Friday, Nov. 2. The show at the El Dorado County Government Center, Building B, 360 Fair Lane in Placerville, is open from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m.
Judging this year’s show was Marilyn Schwabe, award-winning painter and art teacher from Plymouth.
The theme for this year is “Bridges” and viewers can enjoy a wall with paintings featuring bridges.
There will also be paintings in the categories of people, floral, seascape, landscape and life.

Landscape: Joyce Becker, first place; Lee Holderman, second place; Joan Miller, third place; and Pat Grogan, fourth place.
Seascape: Joyce Becker, first place; Joyce Becker, second place; Tom Adam, third place; and Joyce Oliver, fourth place.
Life: Joyce Oliver, first place; Pat Grogan, second place; Mary Renison, third place; and Marilyn Callaway, fourth place.
People: Joyce Oliver, first place; Kathleen Buhlert, second place; Marilyn Callaway, third place; and Kathleen Buhlert, fourth place.
Other: Lee Holderman, first place; Joyce Becker, second place; Marilyn Callaway, third place; and Pat Grogan, fourth place.
Visitors to the show will have a chance to win a painting by acclaimed artist Tom Adam.
The Diamond Springs Art Association meets regularly to create original art. The Fall Art Show and Sale presents a variety of art in all sizes and price points that will brighten a home or business.
