
BONNIE VALENTINE'S painting is the prize in the free drawing at the Diamond Springs Art Association's Spring Art Show and Sale at the El Dorado County Government Center.
The Diamond Springs Art Association is presenting its Spring Art Show and Sale beginning Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, at the El Dorado County Government Center, Building B, 360 Fair Lane in Placerville.
The show is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sharon Galligan is the judge for the show.
Among the categories to be judged are: people, floral, seascape, life and landscapes and this year’s theme, paintings depicting a safari.
The public is invited to vote on the “People’s Choice Award” and there will be a free drawing for a painting by a local award-winning artist Bonnie Valentine through Thursday morning.
Members of the association have painted a nice variety of paintings that will be available for sale.

The DSAA is an organization of active seniors (age 55 and up) who love art and enjoy showing their paintings.
The association welcomes new members and offers to assist them with their painting skills.
