This is the third annual brewers’ dinner in El Dorado County that pairs expertly prepared cuisine for a fun-filled celebration.
The foothills in general, and Placerville specifically, have a rich brewing history going all the way back to the Gold Rush Days, and local brewers are keeping the passion for suds alive.
American Craft Beer Week is an opportunity to toast local brewers who make up the more than 2,400 small and independent American craft brewers who continue to make the U.S. the world’s most diverse brewing destination.
Diners will enjoy the craft brews created by El Dorado Brewing Company, Gold Hill Brewery, Old Hangtown Beer Works and the Placerville Brewing Company.
Jason Spencer, owner of the Cellar, together with Chef Jesse, have put together a stellar multi-course meal with beer pairings from each brewery. The evening celebration costs $45 per person and reservations can be made by calling the Cellar at 530-621-1003.
