Discover ‘Opals’ in El Dorado Hills

Local award-winning and USA Today Bestselling author and radio host, Renee Bernard, will launch her newest book, “Obsession Wears Opals,” on Saturday, Dec. 8 at Face in a Book Bookstore and Gifts in Town Center in El Dorado Hills.

She will be available to sign books and giving out a free “opal” ring with every purchased copy from 1 to 3 p.m. She will also give an exclusive reading from her next novel.

“Opals” is Bernard’s 10th novel and has garnered a great deal of critical praise and attention for its unique storyline and groundbreaking themes.

“It may look like an ordinary historical romance, but there’s nothing ordinary about these characters. Fans love the fresh take on their favorite romance genre and I love surprising them,” she said.

The event is free and open to the public. Bernard loves to meet readers and aspiring writers of all walks. She speaks regularly to book clubs and various organizations about the progress of writing and changes in the industry, along with hosting her weekly Internet radio show “Canned Laughter and Coffee” that presents a new author guest each Tuesday night.
