DSAA presents winning art

The Diamond Springs Art Association’s annual Fall Art Show and Sale is on display through Friday, Nov. 8 at the El Dorado County Government Center, Building B, 360 Fair Lane in Placerville. The show is open to the public from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Judith Jackson was the judge and selected the following winners.

Best of Show: Lee Holderman, “Leaves.”

Theme: first, Joan Miller, “Harley Austin;” second, Marilyn Callaway, “Sweet Dreams;” third, Lee Holderman, “Walking Hand in Hand;” honorable mention, Kathleen Buhlert, “My Brother.”

Floral: first, Joyce Becker, “Floral Delight;” second, Lee Holderman, “Hydrangeas;” third, Mary Renison, “Tulip;” honorable mention, Kathleen Buhlert, “Hollyhocks.”

There will be a free raffle with the winner receiving an original painting from a local artist.
