Forty artists invite the public to visit their studios and enjoy their diverse talents during the Spring Art Studio Tour 2013 on Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Visitors will see painters, sculptors, jewelers, potters, photographers and mixed media artists in studio.
The free tour brochure and map serve as a guide for the treasure hunt where adventure, entertainment and education await. Original art for the home or office or a gift are on display.
Start the adventure at any point on the map and chart your own course to the 20 studios. Some locations have one artist and other locations have two or more artists showing together. All have their own unique personality, technique and style, no two are alike.
Talk to the artists and ask questions about how they got started and what inspires them. Artist love to share their creative process, so don’t be shy about asking questions.
The studio tour provides visitors with the opportunity to see and purchase high quality, original art in all media, directly from the artists who create it.
The tour brochure serves as a guide for this sixth annual event. Enjoy an entire weekend of touring the artist’s environment, their work space and seeing the equipment they use to create their art. Experience a behind the scenes preview of art in the making.
The tour is sponsored by the El Dorado Hills Art Association, a non-profit organization for the benefit and promotions of the arts in El Dorado Hills and its bordering communities.
