Meredith Escabar and Kevin Joseph Carney, both of Los Angeles, have announced their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Mimi Escabar of Placerville and the late Tony E. Escabar of Placerville. She works as a retail consultant.

The groom is the son of George and Bonnie Rossi of West Hills. He works in marketing.

The wedding is scheduled for Saturday, June 1 at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in Culver City.
