The bride is the daughter of Eddie and Marilyn Albert of Shingle Springs. She is a 1991 Ponderosa High School graduate and a 1997 University of California, Davis graduate, earning her BA in history and minor in eastern Asian studies. She works in marketing for Radio Disney.
The groom is the son of the late Herbert and late Arlene Schwartz, and step-son of Carol Schwartz, all of Woodmere. He is a 1981 graduate of Lawrence High School, Lawrence, N.Y. He works as a horse trainer/breeder/owner.
The bride and groom met in the summer of 2009 when she visited the Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
The groom proposed to the bride last December at the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center in New York City.
The couple will wed on Saturday, May 11 in Lake Tahoe. After their honeymoon, they plan to reside in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
