The bride is the daughter of Robert and Linda Taylor of Shingle Springs. She is a 2007 Ponderosa High School graduate. She is working toward her bachelors degree in psychology with a concentration on community and mental health at William Jessup University in Rocklin. She is employed at Summitview Family and Child Services in Diamond Springs.
The groom is the son of Cheryl Hogge of Wilton. He is a 2007 Elk Grove High School graduate. He is a catcher for the Midland Rockhounds, a Double-A Major League Baseball affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, in Midland, Texas.
The wedding will be on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Flower Farm Inn in Loomis.
The couple met in 2007 while playing on the baseball and softball teams at Cosumnes River College in Elk Grove.
