Enjoy ‘Wine in the Vines’ at Sierra Vista

Friends of El Dorado County Seniors is pleased to invite the public to the first “Wine in the Vines” fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 18, at Sierra Vista Winery, 4560 Cabernet Way in Placerville, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This fundraiser provides an opportunity for individuals and organizations to support the efforts of Friends of Seniors, while enjoying an evening of award-winning Sierra Vista Wine, delicious appetizers from Diane Wilkinson Catering, music by Singin’ 4 Supper and a raffle.

The cost of this special tasting is $25 per person.

Friends of Seniors is a non-profit organization, helping to support programs that benefit seniors and their caregivers through grants and fundraisers.

Some of the services available to seniors in El Dorado County the fundraiser is helping to support include home delivered meals, transportation assistance, the senior day center, Placerville and El Dorado Hills Senior Centers, senior legal services and scholarship assistance to enable seniors to participate in senior programs and services.
