This contest is open to public high school juniors and seniors in all county high schools including the El Dorado Union High School District, Black Oak Mine Unified School District and Lake Tahoe Unified School District.
The topic this year is: “What is the greatest challenge faced by your generation? Explain your choice and how you will personally address challenge.
The length of essay is 900 to 1,200 words and is due on Friday, Jan. 18. Further information is available through each high school’s career counselor, the El Dorado County Office of Education Website or on the Democratic Party Website.
