“We’re really looking forward to being part of the closing day at the fair and it’s Father’s Day as well,” said Fabulous Liars guitarist, Ed Wilson.
“We’d love to see families come by for the shows,” he added.
The Placerville-based Fabulous Liars play tunes from all decades of rock and some songs not heard in years. The band specializes in classic rock rarely heard; songs by famous bands and artists that haven’t been played over and over again, in addition to performing the hits.
The Fabulous Liars begin at 5 p.m., with additional performances at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on the Red Hawk Casino Stage.
The El Dorado County Fair, “Father’s, Photos & Fair” is through Father’s Day, Sunday June 15 at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, 100 Placerville Drive in Placerville.
Tickets are pre-sale: $8 regular, $6 junior and senior. During the fair tickets are: $9 regular, $7 junior and senior. Attendees with Active Duty Military ID get in free.
Parking is $6 per car.
