Fair contest honors dad

The theme for the 2014 El Dorado County Fair was “Father’s, Photos & Fair” and to honor dad on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15 the fair sponsored look alike contests featuring dad.

The judges had a difficult time selecting the winners from the great entries in the special contest.



Father/son: first Ian and Shane Gerow of Cameron Park, second Luke and Landon Costa of Pilot Hill, third Keith and Hayden Baumunk of Diamond Springs, fourth Tim and Jesse Ohman of Placerville, fifth Tom and Kyle Sunzerv of Orangevale, sixth Scott and Wyatt Schmacher of Cameron Park, seventh Tony and Josh Lomanta of Rescue and eighth Scott and William Newman of Placerville.

Multi-generations of dad’s children: first Robert, Chris and Brody Curtiss of Placerville and second Joe, Jayce and Butch of Placerville

Dad with multiple children: first Tom, Kyle, Ryan and Kevin Sunzerv of Orangevale; second Scott, William, Emily and Elizabeth Evangeline of Placerville; third Luke, Landen and Teagan Costa of Pilot Hill; fourth Rich, Nicholas and Heather Spevak of Placerville; and fifth Jayce, Joe and Jordyn of Placerville

Adult dad/son: first Butch and Joe Tuggle of Placerville and second Robert and Chris.

Dad /daughter: first Josiah and Louisa Ferguson of Shingle Springs, second Scott and Elizabeth Newman of Placerville, third Luke and Teagan Costa of Pilot Hill, fourth Katrina and Ray Langdon of Placerville, fifth Rich and Heather Spevek of Placerville and sixth Joe and Jordyn of Placerville.
