Find a blind date at library

By From page B2 | February 03, 2014

Are you tired of the same thing day after day, month after month, year after year?

Feeling adventurous and ready to try something new?

During the month of February, the El Dorado County Library in Placerville will be hosting blind dates — with books.

Adults pick from among the potential “blind dates” and take home some excitement with an unfamiliar face.

A match made in heaven?

A disaster date from start to finish?

Report back on how your “date” went by filling out a review form.

Play the field by going on multiple dates; each review form filled out is an entry into a raffle prize drawing.

The “Blind Date with a Book” program seeks to offer readers a chance to branch out from their normal, comfortable reading habits and enjoy books they would not typically check-out.

For more information on this free event visit the Library Programs and Events calendar on the library’s Website eldoradolibrary.org or contact the library at 530-621-5540.
