Food co-op reaches 900 owners

The Placerville Natural Foods Cooperative (PNFC) now has 900 community owners. The PNFC started operating in October 2011 with 256 owners and has been voted No. 1 natural foods store for two years in a row by Mountain Democrat readers.

The Placerville Natural Foods Cooperative is a natural foods market open to the public, located at 535 Placerville Drive in Placerville and provides local organic food choices, hot organic meals, an organic juice bar, gluten-free products, local produce, and health and wellness products.

It is open every day from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
