The annual CalCap Chamber Music Workshop will run July 20-25 and July 27-Aug. 1 at Capistrano Hall. Led by California State University, Sacramento music professor Pete Nowlen, the two sessions will bring together intermediate and advanced musicians from across the country. These performers of the violin, cello, piano, flute, clarinet and other instruments are assigned to a new group and musical piece each day for rehearsal and coaching.

The groups will perform free afternoon and evening concerts in Capistrano Hall 151. This year’s concerts will be at 4 and 6:30 p.m. July 21, 22, 24, 25, 28, 29, 31 and Aug. 1; and at 3 p.m. July 23 and 30.
