Full of love preschoolAfter nearly a decade of providing loving childcare in her home, Monica Hobbs of Pollock Pines is finally seeing a dream come true with the June opening of a faith-based, full-fledged childcare center and preschool.

Full of Love Preschool and Childcare is located at Christian Life Center, 5723 Pony Express Court in Pollock Pines. Children 2 through kindergarten age are eligible for enrollment.

“The children of our community deserve a top-notch educational and loving start, and one that instills values and a sense of community spirit and humility,” said Hobbs. “I’ve been blessed to care for many children over the years and this is just taking it up a level.”

Hobbs, the new center’s director, will oversee a diverse curriculum to include academic readiness, art, music, faith and community involvement.

The opening of Full of Love Preschool and Childcare, a non-profit organization, comes after years of hard work and effort, as well as special educational certification Hobbs obtained to direct a childcare center.

Her background includes a degree in music therapy and working with children with disabilities for four years prior to opening her own in-home daycare, with a focus on early childhood development, love and support.

The new childcare center offers weekday part-time and full-time programs between the hours of 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Full of Love Preschool and Childcare will also offer short-term scholarships to nominated families in need. It is licensed by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing by the State of California, No. 093617615.
