Save Saturday, Nov. 16th for the Crab and Chowder Gala at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, in the Mark D. Forni building, 100 Placerville Drive in Placerville. All crab feed fans will want to be a part of this fun community night filled with delicious food, jiving music and fabulous company.
The no-host bar opens at 6 p.m. and dinner follows at 7 p.m. with clam chowder, pasta, bread, salad and all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab.
Halie O’Ryan, known for her spunky spirit and cheery smile will play from 6-10 p.m. O’Ryan plays energetic music that gets the crowd on its feet and helps burn off some of those extra crab calories. There is also a dessert auction and winning bidders will also be dancing to celebrate winning and burning dessert calories.
Along with delicious desserts, there are other silent auction items such as a NFC commemorative football from the San Francisco 49ers and a family-four-pack to Disneyland and California Adventure.
Make it a company retreat! Make it a date night! Whether you bring your buddy, your boss or your beloved, the Crab and Chowder Gala is going to be a night of fun to remember.
Tickets are $40 per person and are available at the fair office in Placerville, at Cool Feed and Ranch Supply in Cool or online at eldoradocountyfair.org.
