Looking for a Christmas, birthday or anniversary gift?
The Friends of Cameron Airport (FOCA) may have just what you need. The friends are holding an Airpark Holiday Boutique at 3239 Baron Court in the Cameron Park Airpark on Friday, Nov. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organizers said there is something for everyone. Vendors are donating a portion of their proceeds to purchase an Automated Weather Observation System for the Cameron Park Airport.
The Cameron Park Airport is used by law enforcement and medical flights in addition to local pilots and the AWOS provides pilots with real time weather information at the airport, aiding in their safety when using the facility.
Among the vendors at the holiday boutique are Lynn Anderson who is famous around the area for his art glass and Pam Ross with her decorative one stroke painting.
The “Sew 4 Vets” group will have a booth selling items made by many of the ladies in the group. Other items being sold are jewelry, home décor, hostess gifts, homemade items and quilts.
