David Girard Vineyards invites the community to see guitarist Michael Chapdelaine in concert at the hilltop amphitheater, 741 Cold Springs Road in Placerville, on Saturday, Aug. 18. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Quinn Hedges will warm up the audience at 6 p.m., and Chapdelaine is scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m. The show is scheduled to go to 9 p.m.
Chapdelaine’s musical styles range from blues to Bach to country to R&B. Chapdelaine is the only guitarist ever to win first prize in the world’s top competitions in both the classical and finger-style genres.
He’s flying in from New Mexico for this special performance.
Food and wine will be available for cash purchase at the event.
Tickets are $20 for winery club members and $30 for non-members.
Please refrain from bringing children, pets, food, alcohol or ice chests. Chairs are provided.
