Union Mine High School alumna, Hannah Rose Dewater, has been selected along with 140 students to join one of Simpson University’s WorldSERVE mission teams. The trip will be to Central Asia.

To make the trip a reality Fuddruckers is coming to Placerville for “Hamburgers for Hannah” on Friday, April 5.

There will be great burgers and great fun for a great cause at Hangtown Body Shop, 485-A Pierroz Road in Placerville.

Fuddruckers of Citrus Heights, home of the “World’s Greatest Hamburgers” is coming up to the foothills to help raise funds for Dewater.

“After a lot of training, praying, fundraising and planning, my team will be going to Central Asia from June 19 to July 29. We will be teaching local youth about important topics such as purity, character and moral decisions. I am really excited for the opportunity to be able to go across the ocean and serve the people there, just as I have been doing in my city here. I love the Lord and I love His people. I am looking forward to teaching these ethical values … My team of three is asking for prayer and support in regards to our safety and favor with the government,” said Dewater.

Fuddruckers of Citrus Heights owner Angelo Negrete is graciously supplying hamburgers with all the proceeds going to support Dewater and her trip to Asia.

Supporters are invited to come and join the fun Friday and have lunch with the family and friends at Hangtown Body Shop.

For those unable to make it to Hangtown Body Shop they can order the burgers and the order will be  delivered for orders over $50.

Call Hangtown Body Shop at 530-622-7940 for details and place an order.
