Out of the depths of Reno emerges soul and funk heavyweight, The Mark Sexton Band. This band is the modern incarnation of Motown soul mixed with a lethal dose of high‐energy 70s funk that will make the audience want to move.
The Mark Sexton Band is performing at PJ’s Roadhouse, 5641 Mother Lode Drive between El Dorado and Shingle Springs, on Friday, Sept. 21.
With band members still in their 20s, The Mark Sexton Band has been crushing the West‐coast tour circuit armed with expert songwriting, remarkable musicianship and a captivating live show. They are currently touring with Listen Out and gearing up to release their new EP in the spring of 2013.
There is a five dollar cover charge.
