Iration and more at Montbleu

Soulful, melody-driven Iration, the chart-topping alternative reggae, pop, rock band will be performing at Montbleu Resort in South Lake Tahoe on Friday, Feb. 15 at 9 p.m.

Opening the evening’s festivities are three other high-profile touring reggae bands: reggae rockers  Passafire, from Georgia; The Green,”Live Artist of the Year” in the 2012 Pier Awards and Pacific Dub, one of the youngest and newest bands to solidify themselves as professionals within the Reggae-Rock scene.

Iration was formed in Isla Vista and is made up of members Joseph Dickens on drums; engineer Joseph King; Cayson Peterson on keyboard and synthesizer; Micah Pueschel, guitar and vox; Kai Rediske, vocal and percussion, and  bassist Adam Taylor. All members met while growing up in Hawaii but formed Iration after reconnecting in Santa Barbara.

They have since released two full-length albums, “Time Bomb” and “No Time for Rest,” as well as three EP’s, “New Roots,” “Sample This EP” and “Fresh Grounds,” “Time Bomb,” which has sold more than 30,000 copies, hit No. 1 on the iTunes reggae album chart and remains within the top 20 on Billboard’s Reggae Album Chart to this day.

They recently finished recording their third full-length album,”Automatic,” combining elements of reggae, rock and pop to create a truly unique listening experience.

The true essence of Iration is best captured live where they are able to fully demonstrate their original brand of soulful, melody driven reggae, pop and rock — and fans can see them at Montbleu

Tickets are $22.50 in advance; $25 day of show. Doors open at 8p.m. and the show begins in the MontBleu Theater at 9 p.m. This is an all-ages venue.
