Lakehills Youth Performing Arts Group will present seven showings of the rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar” on Jan. 25 to 27 and Feb. 1 and 2.

The musical will feature a six-piece live band performing memorable songs including “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “I Don’t Know How to Love Him.”
“Jesus Christ Superstar” was written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber and features renowned personalities including Jesus, Judas, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, Mary Magdalene, King Herod, Pontius Pilate, High Priests Caiaphas and Annas.
Dylan Giles, a freshman at Oak Ridge High School, plays Jesus. Delaney Kelleher, an eighth grade student at Marina Village Middle School, plays Pontius Pilate, the Governor of Judea.
