Learn about chocolate at Christian Women’s luncheon

For the Love of Chocolate is the theme of the February Christian Women’s Connection luncheon on Monday, Feb. 11, at Cold Springs Country Club , 6500 Clubhouse Drive in Placerville.

Seating is at 11:30 a.m. with the program following at noon. Guests or a special loved one are invited to attend this fun lunch this month featuring chocolate that comes in vegan, gluten free, zero calories and Gaga.

Join the group for an introduction to chocolate in a different light with flavors like Belgian brandy, Amaretto and cabernet chocolate sauces and other sweets like triple nut bourbon brittle presented by the unique “All About Chocolate” chocolatier Bea Crosson.

Speaker Chris Davis, successful businessman, will tell how he reached the top after hitting the bottom.

For entertainment the beautiful voice of professional soloist Bob Rawleigh will fill the room with romance.

Contact Millie at 530 644-4258 or Katie at 530 622-6712 by Thursday, Feb. 7 for reservations.

The lunch is sponsored by the Shingle Springs Christian Women’s Connection and Stonecroft Ministries, stonecroft.org.
