Learn how horse camp can make kids smile

The El Dorado Women’s Luncheon Connection is Monday, April 14 at Cold Springs Country Club, 6500 Clubhouse Drive in Placerville.

The monthly lunch starts at noon with seating at 11:30 a.m. and is $16.

The featured topic is A Ranch of Light, a local youth organization that hosts learning activities for at-risk middle school children. Attendees will learn how youth experience the joy of bonding with horses and experience personal growth coupled with self-discipline through learning how to ride horses and care for them. Program information will be provided.

The speaker for April is Lori Hartin. She will talk about a basket, a wolf and a little red riding hood and the happy ending.

The music for the luncheon will be announced at a later date.

Reservations are necessary and all cancellations are required by Thursday, April 10. Call Barbara at 916-806-8057 or JoAn at 530-626-6269 to attend.

The luncheon and program are sponsored by El Dorado Women’s Luncheon Connection and Stonecroft Ministries —
