Duty: 1st Lt. Jared H. Juntunen earns Naval Aviator Wings

Native of Shingle SpringsĀ 1st Lt. Jared H. Juntunen was awarded Naval Aviator Wings at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas, on Nov. 15, 2013, signifying his official designation as a United States Marine Corps aviator.

The wings represent the culmination of nearly three years of flight training, across three different aircraft.

1st Lt. Juntunen will be flying the MV-22 Osprey and will be stationed in Miramar.
