Marshall Medical is just one of several local organizations that is collaborating with El Dorado County’s Television station during its time of growth, expansion and outreach to the community.
Marshall Medical recently released its first public awareness production on Foothill 7 Television’s “Hometown Happenings.”
This informative program hopes to educate viewers about the modern techniques of hearing loss correction through the personal story of Janet Tempel.
Tempel, 56, is an El Dorado County resident that has suffered the effects of hearing loss for much of her life. With the encouragement of her family, she decided to seek treatment to improve her quality of life through Marshall Medical.
In this recent edition of Hometown Happenings, currently airing on Foothill 7, Tempel shares her testimony of how Marshall Medical improved her life both personally and professionally.
The program features local doctor L. Mark Payne MD who discusses hearing loss and the modern techniques available to correct it.
This latest edition of Hometown Happenings is one of many programs currently airing on Foothill 7 TV.
Having started the station in 1986, local resident Michael Dennis has partnered with longtime El Dorado County auto dealer Ron Thompson to build a new state of the art television studio and increased its production staff as well, resulting in a new, energized facility to serve the needs of the local community.
A local favorite for more than two decades, Foothill 7 TV continues to grow in popularity with organizations and businesses eager to get their message out to Comcast customers in El Dorado County.
In addition to Hometown Happenings, a few of Foothill 7 TV’s popular programs include Angler West, one of the most watched fishing shows on the West Coast, California Bountiful, the Basics of Life, produced by Green Valley Community Church, The World Beyond and numerous local interview programs such as Point Blank and special programming that highlights numerous local charities.
“Foothill 7 TV is growing and we have some great new projects in the works ranging from the local charity features to area high school news and community awareness programs such as the recent production for Marshall Medical,” said Bill Sullivan, marketing/program manager for Foothill 7. “We’re seeing a strong rebirth of interest in local productions with our established community outreach, right here in El Dorado County.”
Foothill 7 Television airs on Comcast Cable channel 7.
