Halloween or Carnivale: Learn mask making

Plan to enjoy a bit of Halloween mask-making fun and education with artists of the Art on the Divide Gallery in Georgetown in October.

All ages are welcome to this workshop, as historical background on the creation and use of masks is scheduled to be presented. Children under 10 should be assisted by an adult. The workshop will take place Saturday, Oct. 27 between 10 a.m. and noon in the gallery garden. There will be a $5 fee to cover expenses. No reservations needed.

Art on the Divide Gallery is located at 6295 Main Street, between the fire station and the American River Inn in Georgetown. The gallery October hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
