The American Dental Association recommends children start having dental exams by their first birthday and are required for children in Lake Tahoe Unified School District before entering first grade. Preventative care, including an annual exam and cleaning, is important for adults and children to avoid more extensive and costly care in the future.
Tooth Travelers is the only provider in the South Lake Tahoe area who accepts Medi-Cal for dental services. No referral is needed and all forms can be completed at the time of service.
