John Landis, author of the chilling novel “Big Brother Revisited,” will be at the El Dorado County Library, 345 Fair Lane in Placerville, for an Author Meet ‘n’ Greet on Wednesday, May 14 from nooon-2 p.m.

The public is invited to come and shake hands and visit with this local author. Landis will be back on Thursday, May 15 at 2 p.m, to discuss his book and offer insights into the publishing world.

“Big Brother Revisited” thrusts readers into a totalitarian America in the year 2025. Imagine an America that has imposed oppressive laws over its citizens in an attempt to maintain its world leadership position against a threatening China. When the government rules unwisely, it is up to the people to change it for the better. Love, action, intrigue and more are found in the novel “Big Brother Revisited.”

Copies of “Big Brother Revisited” are available for $14.95. For more information on this event visit the library’s Web page at eldoradolibrary.org or contact the library at 530-621-5540.
