Trevor Miller of Placerville graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at University of California, Davis on June 5.
Miller graduated from Gold Trail School in 1998, Ponderosa High School in 2002, University of California, Berkeley in 2007 and attended UC Davis for the last four years.
As he strived to attain his DVM he accepted summer jobs at the Airport Vet Clinic in Cameron Park, Oakland Zoo, Mote Marine Biology Lab in Florida, attended college at James Cook University in Australia for a year abroad, worked at various other animal centers and also worked for the United States Forest Service out of Placerville, Department of Natural Resources for two summers.
Miller attained the rank of Eagle Scout from Troop 95 in Placerville.
As a DVM, he has accepted an internship for the following year in Walnut Creek.
His family is still deeply appreciative of the scholarship help he received from
organizations in El Dorado County.
