Lake Tahoe’s MontBleu Resort Casino and Spa continues to celebrate the new year with a power-packed 2013 winter entertainment lineup that includes live WFC mixed martial arts fighting, stand-up laughs from Comedy Central’s Mario Cantone and eclectic music featuring Iration, The Expendables and Umphrey’s McGee.

World Fighting Championships arrives at MontBleu Saturday, Jan. 12 with hard-hitting Mixed Martial Arts “Live at The Lake” duels. Doors open at 8 p.m. with the fights at 9 p.m.
MontBleu welcomes funny man Mario Cantone, Saturday, Jan. 26. This “Sex in the City” regular and Comedy Central veteran is known for his spot-on impressions of Bruce Springsteen and Liza Minnelli, and saucy one-liner bombs that cover that entire pop culture spectrum.
Back by popular demand, Iration blends vibes of the tropics, reggae infused rock with generous amounts of pop and synth, Friday, Feb. 15.
The group recently released a new single entitled “Porcupine ft. Lincoln Parish” from Cage The Elephant — the single is the first off their upcoming full length record “Automatic,” due out in 2013.
The Expendables, a Santa Cruz based-group that blends reggae, punk rock and ’80s-style dueling guitar solos returns to MontBleu, March 6. The group is a crowd favorite at the annual Vans Warp summer music tour.
“Improg” music — a blend of progressive and improvisational — will debut at MontBleu with Umphrey’s McGee on St. Patty’s Day, March 17. Creators of the improg sound, the Chicago band has a devout fan base.
Additional winter entertainment at MontBleu includes George Benson, Feb. 17 and comedians Jo Koy, Feb. 23 and Rob Schneider, March 23.
