Montebleu names new marketing director

It has to be the best name in the casino marketing circle. Julie Paradysz, pronounced paradise, was recently appointed marketing director at Tahoe’s MontBleu Resort Casino and Spa. Name aside, it’s her strong marketing background, knowledge of the area and history of success that Paradysz brings to the property.

Paradysz is responsible for all sales and marketing for MontBleu, including its 440-room hotel, 16,000 square-foot Onsen Spa, two nightclubs, three lounges, a convention center, 1,700-seat showroom, its Four-Diamond Ciera Steak plus Chophouse and two restaurants that provide guests with a full-blown 24/7 high-energy resort experience.

Paradysz formerly worked at Kirkwood Mountain Resort, Stateline-based Weidinger Public Relations and Marriott International. She also owned a wedding planning business, Indigo Events plus Weddings, which she will continue to run.

In a twist of irony, Paradysz  also worked in MontBleu’s Café del soul’s kitchen because, as she tells it, she wanted commercial food preparation service skills to obtain experience for the catering part of her wedding business.

Before taking on her envious moniker after her marriage this summer to David Paradysz, she was Julie Koster.

“An insatiable appetite for learning and growth has allowed Julie to not only excel quickly in her career and achieve great things for her clients, but to have fun while doing it,” said MontBleu General Manager, Jack Fisher. “Her drive to succeed combined with youthful enthusiasm has led her through many challenges presented in the marketing and sales arena. We’re pleased to have her on our team.”

The MontBleu Resort Casino and Spa appeals to both the traditional gamer and the late-night club-hopper with its stylish sophistication and attractive, metro-cool atmosphere to create a complete casino-resort experience. The 440-room MontBleu features distinct restaurants and chic nightlife venues, in addition to a newly-remodeled, 40,000 square-foot casino, spa and a new poker room. MontBleu is owned by Tropicana Casino and Resorts.
