Mother Lode Union School District announces that beginning Friday, Feb. 1, kindergarten and transitional kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year will be accepted at Indian Creek School, 6701 Green Valley Road in Placerville, 530-626-0765.
The school Website can be accessed at indiancreek.mlusd.net. Registration forms will be available in the school office beginning Feb. 1 for the registration period and may be returned beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
A child who resides in the Mother Lode Union School District and will be 5 years of age on or before Oct. 1 is eligible for kindergarten. A child who will turn 5 years old between Oct. 2 and Dec. 2 is eligible for transitional kindergarten which is the first year of a two year kindergarten program.
The child’s birth certificate, immunization record, proof of residency and doctors physical — completed after Feb. 14, — will be required when registering a child. Proof of residency requires that a parent/guardian provide utility bill, rental agreement, property tax or escrow document.
