By From page B5 | April 19, 2013

Petroglyphe Gallery welcomes the arrival of spring with live musical performances to awaken the passion and enliven the senses.

The gallery’s next Spring Sunday Fine Art Concert will be held on Sunday, April 21 in historic downtown Mokelumne Hill, 8317 Main St.

This special event will feature harpist, Motoshi Kosako, and will be preceded by a reception with light appetizers and wine to be served from 3:30 p.m. until the performance at 4 p.m.

Tickets for limited seating are available for $21 in advance and if available, for $23 on the day of the event.

Kosako is the principal harpist for the Stockton Symphony. Kosako’s latest music innovation is jazz improvisation and composition for the harp. In 2007 he won the second place in the Lyon and Healy International Jazz and Pop Harp Competition and received a “Best of Sacramento” award from Sacramento Magazine who proclaimed, “Kosako plays with a fluid, modern style that evokes Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea.”

Petroglyphe Gallery is excited to feature such a talented and visionary musical artist.

For more details on this concert series or to purchase tickets visit the gallery’s Website at gallerypetroglyphe.com or call 209-286-1387.

Regular hours of Petroglyphe Gallery are Thursdays through Saturdays 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
