Looking for a fun-filled night of mystery and suspense?
See “Dial “M” For Murder” at Sacramento Theatre Company, 1419 H St. in Sacramento.
This classic suspense thriller by Frederick Knott was the basis for the 1954 Alfred Hitchcock film starring Ray Milland and Grace Kelly. After marrying his wife for her money, Tony Wendice now plans to murder her for the same reason. He arranges for the perfect murder — a plot involving intrigue and blackmail, but things don’t go according to plan.
STC’s production stars Matt K. Miller as the husband and Jackie Vanderbeck as the wife. The production is directed by Greg Alexander.
STC’s artistic staff will offer a prologue at 7:15pm to share insights and information about the production and the 8pm performance will be followed by a dessert and champagne reception in our lobby with members of the cast.
The production continues Sacramento Theatre Company’s season of mystery, music and mayhem.
Curtain is at 8 p.m. and the play runs through Sunday, March 25.
For tickets call the box office Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at 916- 443-6722.
