In spring everyone is surrounded by the lushness of new growth and it reminds everyone of how fortunate we are to live in the midst of such beauty.
Member artists have been working in their various media to express their own visions of the wonders of nature.
They invite the public to stop in for a visit and to look around as they pay homage to the splendors of Mother Earth.
As part of the April celebration, the artists will be participating in Nature Fest on Saturday, April 27 in the Georgetown Nature Area. The artists will be offering hands-on art related to nature. They hope many festival goers will participate in the art in action.
Art on the Divide Gallery invites local artists who are interested in joining the cooperative to stop by and pick up an application.
The gallery is located at 6295 Main St. in Georgetown, between the fire station and the American River Inn. Spring hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
