On Duty: Air Force Airman 1st Class Jeffrey T. Lewis

Air Force Airman 1st Class Jeffrey T. Lewis graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Lewis earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Laura De Arcos of Cameron Park.

The airman is a 2007 Ponderosa High School graduate. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla. in 2011.
